Madurai is the third largest an ancient city on the Vaigai River in Tamil Nadu state in South India. Madurai is famous for its temples built by Pandyan and Madurai Nayak kings in the Dravidian style of architecture. It is also one of India's most outstanding Hindu pilgrimage centres. Madurai is also called City of Junctions (Koodal Nagar), City of Jasmine (Malligai Maanagar), Temple city (Koil Maanagar), City that never sleeps (Thoonga Nagar) and City of four junctions (Naan Maada Koodal)

Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It's known for Ramanatha Swamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site. The temple and the island of Rameswaram have acquired this name because, Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva, the God of the Gods ar Rameswaram after returning from Sri Lanka. According to legend, after killing Ravana, Lord Rama returned with his Goddess Seetha to India. The first step on the shores was of Rameswaram.

Kanyakumari (or Kanyakumari) is a town on the southern most tip of the main land of India, in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is also known as Cape Comorin. Hyderabad is also called as City of Pearls, City of Nizams, World Capital of Biryani, HITECH City, Call us for Tour Packages Hyderabad in 2018 The southernmost point of India, Kanyakumari is a small town located at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. For a long time it has been a significant site in India both spiritually and more recently as a day tripping excursion from Kerala.

Famous Indian poet and philosopher, though probably unknown to most foreigners, Swami Vivekananda spent long periods of time meditating here and resultantly has a large monument erected to him just off the shoreline. Mahatma Gandhi also visited Kanyakumari and another prominent attraction is a mausoleum dedicated to him in the form of an Orissan Sun Temple. A rare phenomenon and depending on the weather, at certain times of the year the setting sun and rising moon can be witnessed in the twilight.
