 BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK The Bandipur Reserve Forest is of 800 sq. km of land of and declared as tiger reserve in 1973.

Elephants, Tigers, Chittal(spotted deer) can be spotted easily in Bandipur. The temperatue is between 19 to 28C makes it year long destination. The distance between Mysore to Bandipur is 89 km. and the distance from Bangalore is 230kms. The safais is of 45mts. There are many jungle lodges in it.

Do not stop and get down from vehicle due to presence of many wild animals in Nagarahole national park it can be dangerous and helpless. Camping is also not allowed in the forest due to presence of wild animals.
