Kasauli is a very small picturesque town. It lies roughly between Chandigarh and Shimla. Kasauli is towards South east to Shimla and north East of Chandigarh, a small town in Himachal Pradesh State of India which is at an altitude of 1,927 m. above sea level. Kasauli is 70 km from Chandigarh and 77 km from Shimla.
As per Legend Lord Hanuman has placed his feet to proceed towards to Sanjeevani Mountain. There is a hillock of 300 m high where the Lord Hanuman actually kept his feet.

One of the hill stations in north India which that was developed again by the Britishers as summer home.
The soothing voices and chirping of birds with the soft and gentle rustling of leaves makes this place a heaven on its own. A very thinly populated place with tranquility and peace . There are no fun adventure things available here but a quite town.
Best time to visit Kasauli is between April to June and then again from September to November. And March to June the Kasauli temperature ranges between 14° C to 28° C.
