 Largest city in Rajasthan is Jaipur also its capital, built by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th Centaury and was India's first planned city.

For Indian and international tourists Jaipur is the major tourist attraction. It is one of the destinations of Golden Triangle of India, which comprises of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.

UNESCO has declared Jaipur city as heritage many giant Rajputana forts can be also seen. The closest cities are Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.


How to Visit Jaipur By train?

Many trains in Jaipur arrives from and to to Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Alwar and Ajmer, Bangalore, Barmer, Benaras, Bhubaneswar, Bikaner, Bilaspur, Chennai, Chittaurgarh,Delhi, Goa, Gwalior, Haridwar, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur and Bhopal., Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Kozhikode and Kochi., Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Pathankot, Patna, Puri, Raipur, Ranchi, Roorkee, Surat, Udaipur, Vadodara etc

Delhi is the Shatabdi express, departs from New Delhi station at 6:05AM and reaches Jaipur at 10:30AM.

There are three major railway stations :

  • Jaipur Junction
  • Durgapura and
  • Gandhinagar of Jaipur,

Most of the trains stops at Jaipur Junction and a few trains at Durgapura and Gandhinagar stations respectively.
